LIUPIROGI e PAGIOPA hosts in the summer CENTRO, CORPO, PERFORMANCE, CREATIVITA’, workshop conducted by the artist and performer LIUBA.
The laboratory course focuses on performance art and aims to stimulate people to know themselves and their creative potential, with the aim of creating a personal performance.
Both artists who want to deepen in the language of performance and people of all backgrounds and professions, who want to engage in a creative, spiritual and physical experience, can participate.
It is possible to request individual courses in which some aspects of one's work are studied in depth with LIUBA, elements of one's own artistic and performative projects are developed, or the discovery of one's inner creativity is undertaken through the body and multimedia.

The workshop is structured in three intersected themes:
Body work: concentration techniques; breathing techniques; body awareness; posture and movements; exploration of the performative possibilities of the body.
Work on the psyche: discovery of the self through multimedia techniques with dance, music, color, words; identifying one's own creative and expressive needs, searching for one's personal expressive language.
Performance work: definition of performance and multimedia; identification and development of a performative theme; individual work and in small groups; creation of personal performances: research of the appropriate languages to realize them, research of materials, preparation work, elements of interaction with the public. Possible exhibition of your performance.

Welcome and meeting of the participants
THE ORIGINS OF PERFORMANCE ART, a talk about performance art and viewing of historical videos of important performative actions (event open to the public *)
on FRIDAY: from 2.30pm to 5.30pm and from 6pm to 9.00pm - Liupirogi e Pagiopa's terrace.
Body work: concentration techniques, breathing techniques, awareness and study of postures, movement semiotics, visual language with the body, space, movement and interaction. Work on the discovery of the self, exercises with dances, colors, sounds and words. Knowing and expressing oneself: Search for creativity within each of us. Identification of a personal performative theme; individual work and in small groups.
on SATURDAY: from 2.30pm to 5.30pm and from 6pm to 9.00pm - Liupirogi e Pagiopa's terrace and Viserba beach.
Development of the personal performative theme and multimedia expressiveness techniques. Work on one's goals and expressive needs, search for the appropriate creative language. Individual and group work; interactive collaboration experiments. Deepening of the chosen themes and performances; research and use of the appropriate languages for their own performance; search for possible necessary materials.
on SUNDAY: 2.30pm to 5.30pm - Liupirogi e Pagiopa's terrace.
Development of the produced performances and latest elaborations. Study of rhythm, duration, shape, movements. General tests and final touches - Preparation of energy and concentration for the performance From 17.30 Presentation to the public of the performances developed and created during the course. Eventual exhibition for those who wish.

To all those who want to get involved and discover themselves through creativity, performance, body and multimedia. To the artists who want to explore the language of performative practice To those who want to dedicate themselves to creativity and to the search for personal well-being. The course is of a basic level and is also suitable for those who have never done performances, but it is also designed as an in-depth study for those who already have experience, thanks to moments of individual confrontation in which everyone will be helped to develop their potential at their own level.

Antonella Liuba Picini Pagliarani, aka LIUBA, was trained in semiotics and art history at the University of Bologna with Umberto Eco and Omar Calabrese and in Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts. She is an internationally renowned artist with assets 25 years of performances and exhibitions in various parts of the world.
Works with performances, video art, interactive, site-specific and interactive projects. She presented her performances and videos at the Artissima Art Fair in Turin, at the PAC Padiglione Contemporanea in Milan, at the Venice Biennale, at Art Basel, at the Armory Show in New York, at Scope London and in many Italian and foreign galleries .
She has devoted himself with passion for many years to the planning and realization of numerous creative laboratories for various age groups. She has worked for the Municipality of Bologna, the Municipality of Milan, the city of Rimini and the Ministry of Education.

APERTURA DEL WORKSHOP ed EVENTO APERTO AL PUBBLICO
Cosa è la performance art? Quando è nata? Che linguaggi usa? Qual'è la differenza fra il teatro e la performance art?
Approfondimento sulla più moderna e discussa disciplina di arte contemporanea, a cura di LIUBA, performance artist e video artist. Un excursus sulla storia della PERFORMANCE ART con proiezioni di video di performance storiche sulla magica terrazza con megaschermo panoramico dI Liupirogi e Pagiopa.
Un viaggio che parte dagli anni '50 e tocca artisti come Gilbert&George, John Cage, Marina Abramovic, Beuys, Gina Pane fino ad arrivare ai più contemporanei.
Questa serata è il primo appuntamento per i partecipanti al workshop 'Centro, corpo, performance, creatività', ma è anche aperta al pubblico e chiunque può partecipare.
